Two-factor authentication
Add an authenticator app for an extra layer of sign-in security.
Noeryx supports optional two-factor authentication (2FA) using an authenticator app that generates one-time codes (such as 1Password, Authy, or Google Authenticator).
Enable 2FA
- Open Account settings.
- In the Two-factor authentication section, choose Enable two-factor.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app — or enter the setup key manually — then enter the generated six-digit code and choose Verify and enable.
Once enabled, you'll be asked for a six-digit code from your app every time you sign in — whether you sign in with your password or with Google.
Turn off 2FA
In Account settings, in the Two-factor authentication section, choose Turn off, then confirm with Turn off two-factor. You can turn it back on at any time.
If you lose access
A workspace Owner can reset a member's 2FA if they lose their authenticator: in Workspace settings, find the member in the team list and choose Reset 2FA. After a reset, two-factor is turned off for that account. The member can sign in with just their password and turn 2FA back on from Account settings whenever they're ready.
