Agents
Managing agents
Create agents and configure their model, knowledge, memory, tools, and access.
The Agents page lists your workspace's agents. Every workspace starts with a default Main agent; create more with New agent, and select any agent to open its settings.
Agent settings
- Configuration — the agent's name, description, and instructions; who can use it (visibility and owner); and its default models per capability — Chat model, Image model, and Embedding model — with reasoning options where a model supports them. Save with Save configuration.
- Tools — which workspace-available tools this agent can use. Each row has an Off / On or Off / Approval control and saves immediately; there is no separate save button for tools.
- Knowledge — reference material the agent can search while answering.
- Memory — what the agent remembers across conversations.
- Activity — the agent's recent sessions, runs, and artifacts.
An agent can't chat until it has a default chat model — see Models, tools, and BYOK for the workspace-level setup that comes first.
Tools have two levels:
- Workspace settings → Models and tools → Workspace tools decides which ToolGateway capabilities are available to any agent in the workspace.
- Agents → selected agent → Tools decides which of those available tools this specific agent can use during a run.
Delete an agent
Deleting an agent is permanent. In the agent's Danger zone, type the agent's name to confirm.
