Connections

Connection visibility

Control who in the workspace can see a connection's data.

Every connection has a visibility that decides who can see its synced data.

VisibilityWho can see it
WorkspaceAll active members of the workspace.
PrivateThe assigned member, plus workspace Owners.

Choosing visibility

You choose visibility when you create a connection. Pick Workspace for shared accounts the whole team operates, and Private for accounts only you should see.

Changing visibility later

Changing an existing connection's visibility, or reassigning a private connection to a different member, is an Owner action done from the Connection access panel on the connection. Private connections can be assigned only to active members; when a member is removed, their private connections are disconnected and they appear only as a former-member label on existing rows.

Archive keeps the same visibility boundary. Workspace archive is visible to active members; private archive is visible to its assigned member and workspace Owners. Permanently deleting a workspace archive requires an Owner. A private archive may be permanently deleted by its assigned member or an Owner; former-member private archive therefore requires an Owner.
